Medi Da Kos
Medi Da Kos manufacturing process

Process

From brief to delivery

Brief, sample & payment, then freight to your warehouse — with clear milestones at each stage.

The process

Three milestones from brief to delivery. Expand each step for details.

  1. Complete your dashboard brief — category, formula, packaging, MOQ, target launch date, and certifications. No email required to get started.

    • Platform

One structured brief becomes the single project record. Your assigned project manager reviews it and initiates the manufacturing match.

    • You provide

Product concept, target MOQ, launch window, and certification requirements.

Start in minutes, not email threads

  2. Physical samples are shipped directly to your address. Once you approve the formula, your PM guides you through the proforma invoice, PO, and escrow payment.

    • Sample evaluation

Test texture, scent, color, and on-skin performance. Submit structured feedback through your PM — most projects reach approval within 2–3 rounds.

    • Review period

Test the samples with your team and share feedback directly with your PM. We relay it to the lab and coordinate the next revision — so every round moves closer to your approved formula.

When you are ready to order

    1. 1

      Proforma Invoice

Issued before the formal contract. Confirms unit price, order quantity, and delivery timeline — the foundation of your production agreement.

    2. 2

      Purchase Order (PO)

Your team issues the PO to lock in item specifications, quantity, and pricing in writing.

    3. 3

      Escrow Payment

Payment is held in escrow and released against agreed production milestones. Medi Da Kos charges a 10% platform fee on the confirmed order value — shown on your proforma before you sign the PO, separate from factory unit pricing. Your PM walks you through each line item.

No surprises — every cost confirmed before production begins

  3. Finished goods are shipped by sea or air to your warehouse, complete with export documentation and end-to-end tracking.

    • Pre-shipment

Pre-shipment inspection and batch COA are completed and verified before goods leave the factory.

    • Export documentation

COA, Certificate of Origin, MSDS, and market-specific filings (FDA / EU CPNP where required) are prepared and reviewed before customs clearance.

    • Freight to your door

We coordinate sea or air freight with a carrier matched to your timeline and budget. You receive tracking updates from port departure through delivery to your warehouse.

FAQ

No. Everything is managed remotely through the platform and your dedicated PM. Physical samples are shipped directly to your address, and all documentation is handled digitally.

That's expected — most projects go through 2–3 rounds before formula approval. Your PM coordinates each revision with the lab and keeps the project on schedule.

Formula IP terms are defined in your contract before R&D begins. Ownership structures vary by manufacturer and project scope — your PM will walk you through the available options before you commit.

Our manufacturing partners are best matched at 3,000 units or more per SKU — this is where factory pricing and lead times are most competitive. Projects starting at 1,000 units can still be submitted; your PM will confirm feasibility based on product format and partner availability.

No — and that's intentional. Your PM manages all factory communication on your behalf, in English, so nothing gets lost in translation and your timeline stays on track.

Our partner network covers the most common requirements for US and international market entry: FDA (MoCRA), EU CPNP, ISO 22716 GMP, Halal, Vegan Society, and Leaping Bunny cruelty-free, among others. Your PM will confirm which certifications apply to your product category and target markets.
